He pointed out that most new games are for consoles anyway, and then I came here and read this five minutes later. You pretty much cemented my decision to buy an XP computer now while they're still available. It has it all, stunning graphics, great single player and great multiplayer. It has completely changed my view of console gaming and I don't have to deal with any of the XP/Vista/DX10 issues.
