Mr. Coyote, I recently ran across this:

http://initforthegold.blogspot.com/2008/05/falsifiability-question.html

Leland, a frequent contributor to The Oil Drum and staunch believer in man made global warming made the following comment.

"It's written by someone working in the climate science field. (He's apparently at tu, but I'll try not to hold it against him. ;-) It's a short and interesting piece about why AGW is not really a theory, and what evidence it would take to make him change his mind about it.

Unfortunately, I fear the average denialist just wouldn't understand it."

I've always admired your critical thinking ability coupled with your skills in analysis and logic and would appreciate for you at your leisure to analyze the climate scientist's statement. I believe it would make a good cross post over at the Climate Skeptic.

Side bar:

Leland, in my opinion, is like many true believers. He tends to see global warming as an either black or white issue; there are no shades of gray. Not only is global warming it is caused by man. Period and amen.

To be fair, a couple of those look like good effects: if Germany becomes a better wine producer, that could be a good thing...

But yeah, I'm with you.
