I’ve seen ads on TV for Caduet. It has two ingredients. One is Amlodipine and the other is Atorvastatin. With my RxDrugCard I can get 30 tablets of Amlodipine for $9 and 30 tablets of Simvastatin for $9. I’ll bet they are charging more than $18 for this new drug! All dental costs will be "free", paid-for by the federal government. Let's set it up for 20 or 25 years with a sunset provision, so we can give it a fair try. Before the program begins, let all the proponents put forth their cost estimates for the program and we'll see if they're off by 10x or 100x, typical for government programs.</p> <p>After 20-25 years we'll see if the program is a rousing success, dismal failure, or somewhere in between. When the government controls your personal habits, it isn't all that difficult to ensure a healthy society.
